Although, it's a good thing that portuguese sausages are good at sitting around without needing to be tended much, because the eggs (or in this case, Egg Beaters) were a bit of a pain. Eggs are always a pain, though. I never have the pan at the right temperature to start out with, they always want to stick to the sides that didn't get Pam on them, and then they always come apart into little bits for some reason. Egg Beaters weren't any different, except that I didn't get the chance to put any seasoning because I was pouring straight from the carton, so the end result was tasteless. And shoyu added afterward just isn't the same.

177) 30 minute meals
I fully believe Rachael Ray can do meals in 30 minutes, but I don't quite get how she does it. I mean, I tried a very simple portuguese sausage, eggs and rice meal, and it came out at about 40 minutes, mostly because of the rice. That 10 minutes of letting it sit around and steam certainly puts a crimp in the timing.
